Book the whole home
Six acres and two wrap-around decks above Ennis — in the middle of the fly-fishing universe. Seven blue-ribbon rivers within an hour. Yellowstone an hour south. Book directly with the owners.
The view is the reason to come. An upper deck that wraps the main floor for morning coffee and valley sunsets, and a lower deck off the walk-out below — both of them open to the same long Montana horizon. The house behind them is 3,000 square feet, a stone fireplace, a dining table for eight, a man-cave and bar downstairs.
Rent it whole, or split into two configurations — upstairs for a couple or small family, downstairs for a bunk-room crew. Three ways to stay, one property.
Reserve the full 3,000 sq ft for groups up to 12, or just the level that fits your trip.

Highway 191 water — the one from A River Runs Through It. Pocket water, classic dry-fly runs, wade-friendly all the way into Yellowstone Park.
World-class dry-fly fishing from Wisdom to Twin Bridges. Trout plus native Arctic grayling — rare in the Lower 48.
Tailwater south of Twin Bridges. Narrow, brushy, and known for producing some of the largest trout in Montana.
The longest free-flowing river in the Lower 48. Cutthroat, browns, and rainbows from Gardiner to Livingston.
Stillwater within easy reach when rivers blow out or you want a Trico morning. Ennis Lake is ten minutes away.
Outfitters pick up at the driveway. The Tackle Shop, Madison River Fishing Company, and a handful of others in Ennis will collect you, get you on the water by 9, and have you back by 4. Drift boat parking and a rod-rigging station at the house.
A 180° panorama from both wrap-around decks — the Madison Valley floor, the Madison Range, the Gravellys. Watch weather roll in from an hour out.
The Madison through town, the Ruby, Jefferson, Gallatin, Big Hole, Beaverhead, and Yellowstone all within an hour. More blue-ribbon water from here than anywhere in the country.

"The location, view, and structure is quite beautiful. We sat for hours on the deck, enjoying an incredible view. We'll likely be back again as soon as we can find the time."
"The cabin is lovely and secluded while being just a short drive from downtown Ennis. We enjoyed the nearby access to multiple trailheads for a few hikes. Bob was very responsive."
"Really wonderful property — with a huge back deck overlooking a wide valley. Exactly what I was looking for when booking a Montana home, thanks so much."

Ennis sits at the center of it — a small main street of fly shops, a grocery, a few good restaurants, and a bar or two. Yellowstone's west entrance is an hour south. Big Sky is twenty minutes the other way. The Madison River runs the whole valley, and there's public fishing access from here to Three Forks.
